Our Fall Scholastic Book Fair will take place from Monday, November 6th to Thursday, November 9th. The Book Fair will be in the library at recess, lunch, and after school until 2 p.m.

We will have a Harvest Festival on Friday, October 27 starting at 4:30 p.m. Come and enjoy game booths, dancing in the auditorium, trick or treating, food, and a haunted house!

Join us to learn about the new student report card on Thursday, October 26. We will begin the meeting at 8:30 a.m. in the Parent Center.

We invite all of our parents to join us at this workshop focusing on financial literacy. This workshop series will take place every Tuesday from October 3rd to November 7th in the Parent Center starting at 8:30 a.m.

We will be training parents on how to log on and utilize the Parent Portal to monitor student attendance, grades, and much more!

Come and join us for Math Night on Thursday, October 12th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. We will begin our night with food sales followed by math activities in the auditorium from 6 - 7 p.m.

LAUSD staff will be holding a meeting to inform parents and community members about our school's Pavement and Landscaping Upgrade Project. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the school's auditorium.

Join us on Friday, September 8th in the Parent Center for our first PTA meeting. The meeting will begin at 8:05 a.m. Come and participate!

Classes will begin, for the 2017-2018 school year, on Tuesday, August 15. Keep in mind that the school's main gate opens at 7:30 a.m., with the first bell ringing at 7:55 a.m., and our final bell at 8:00 a.m. Parents, please remember that parking and morning drop-off will be very busy that day, so plan on arriving at school by 7:45 a.m. Dismissal will be at 1:23 p.m. on that first Tuesday and every following Tuesday throughout the year.

We want to wish our Capistrano students and their families a restful and enjoyable summer break. We will see you on Tuesday, August 15th for the start of the 2017-2018 school year.
